They needed a rubber strap with OEM-sized quick-release fat spring bars that could be easily swapped out without damaging the strap. So, we got to work and began our search for the best solution.

If your watch has OEM fat spring bars, the DiveCore HP strap is an excellent match. Built for extreme conditions, this strap is a reliable choice for divers and adventurers alike. Its quick-release spring bars make swapping straps effortless, whether you're transitioning from a rugged work strap to a more casual option after hours or swapping from a sporty strap to something more formal. With a secure locking keeper to keep your strap in place and precise adjustment holes to give you the perfect fit, the DiveCore HP is a great choice all around! Designed to pair seamlessly with Swiss dive watches, but its durable rubber construction makes it versatile enough for most timepieces that take fat spring bars.

If your watch came with OEM fat spring bars, it's essential to stick with fat spring bars. Using standard spring bars can result in a loose-fitting strap, which over time may wear down the spring bar holes in your watch lugs. This could eventually lead to your strap falling off and your watch dropping from your wrist. Additionally, once the lug holes are worn, switching back to fat spring bars might not provide the secure fit your watch originally had.

Will this strap work with my watch?
If your watch came with OEM fat spring bars, this strap will fit perfectly! However, if your watch uses standard spring bars, you may find that this strap isn’t a perfect fit. The DiveCore HP spring bars have a 0.9mm tip, slightly thicker than the standard 0.7mm tip. If the strap isn’t compatible with your watch, you can easily swap the fat spring bars for standard ones or contact our team for a free return.

(See photo below) If you're unfamiliar with a watch strap locking mechanism, it works by threading the tail end of the strap through a keeper, which typically has a small protrusion on the inside that fits snugly into a corresponding hole on the strap, locking them together for a secure and reliable fit.
